Safety and Health Training

Safety and Health training is not only a good idea for companies but in many cases, it is mandated by regulatory agencies such as OSHA and MSHA.  At Safety Management and Training Solutions, we understand that many people do not like to sit in a classroom for an extended period of time to receive mandatory training classes, and most companies struggle with training as it can take away from production and the bottom line.

For that reason, we have established positive and effective methods to deliver our training programs, from onsite training at job sites or the traditional classroom setup with the addition of hands-on training as part of the course that allows the participants to engage in the training and have a greater take away as they can apply the skills and information provided in the classroom.

We know that PowerPoint is but one of many tools used to present information but the hands-on activities and group exercises that are utilized by Safety Management and Training Solutions have proven to be highly effective.  We also use technology in our training programs to help those who are technologically savvy to engage in the training and through these methods provide competitive learning strategies for many individuals, with the addition to many hands on components to demonstrate and reinforce the principles taught in the training.

Our trainers are safety professionals and understand the standards and regulations that companies must abide by, with our understanding and knowledge as well as understanding how adults learn we are able to present the material in a logical, factual, and enjoyable way.  No longer does training have to be dull, we bring it to life.

Some of our trainers are both OSHA Authorized Outreach Instructors which allows us to conduct the OSHA 10 and 30 Hour classes for both Construction and General Industry.  We also have authorized MSHA instructors for Part 48 Surface Mining operations which can also cover Part 46.  In addition to these courses, we have ATSSA-certified instructors for Certified Flagging Operations.

All of our training courses are proved at our state-of-the-art training center located in West Valley City, Utah (UT), with most of our classes also being available virtually and in person upon request at your facility anywhere in the Untied States.
