Forklift Operator Training

OSHA requires anyone who operates a Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) to have formal and practical training and an evaluation prior to operating. 

This training will cover all 7 types of Forklifts to meet your company's needs. Common forklifts include: Sit Down Counterbalance, Narrow Aisle, Electrical Pallet jack, and Rough Terrain Forklifts. A test will follow the formal portion to ensure that employees understand the forklift basics before operation. After successfully passing the test. Practical training will happen on all forklifts that your company has (if any are available by the company). Upon completion, cards will be issued based on the extent of the training.

Other Topics include Pre- Shift inspections, loading and unloading as well as worksite inspections.

 The classes held at Safety Management and Training Solutions Facility are theory ONLY.
