The OSHA 10-Hour Construction course can help your employees to better recognize hazards at the worksite. this course is designed to provide those who attend with a skill set that will help improve overall job site safety. During the class, participants will be engaged in various activities and discussions about workplace safety and how to control the various hazards that may be encountered. With successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card.
This course includes the following topics:
Introduction to OSHA
Focus Four Topics
Struck By
Caught Between
Falls
Electrocutions
Health Hazards in Construction
Personal Protective Equipment
Material Handling and Storage
Hand and Power Tools
Trenching and Excavations
Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained knowledge and skills on how to recognize hazards and what the appropriate types of controls may be used to help eliminate or reduce the potential injuries from those hazards.
This course meets the UDOT requirement for Contractors and Subcontractors.
This class is one and a half days and participants are required to be present for the entire class to be eligible to receive their cards. Lunch will be provided on the first day and is included in the course fee.
This course may be taught at your company site and is offered in both English and Spanish.
