ATSSA Certified Flagger

This course meets the Utah Department of Transportation requirements for Certified Flaggers that will be working on UDOT roadways to control traffic during temporary traffic control zones for construction and road maintenance.  This course provides participants with the basic knowledge and skills to identify roadway hazards, ensure that temporary traffic controls are in place, and control the flow of traffic in a safe and efficient manner.

This course covers topics outlined in the Utah MUTDC and meets all applicable requirements for a Certified Flagger.

Participants will receive a flagger card immediately upon successful completion of the card that will be valid for 3 years.  This card is only valid in the State of Utah as this is Utah-specific training.

This course is a minimum of 4 hours in length and is presented by an Authorize ATSSA Instructor.
