OSHA30-hour Construction

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course is designed primarily for supervisors and management teams but is open to anyone who would like to participate.  This course covers the same topics as the OSHA 10-Hour course but in greater detail, you are not required to complete the OSHA 10 prior to taking this course.  As part of this course, participants will work together to identify workplace hazards through discussions and activities and then as a team or individually work to identify proper control measures to help both reduce or eliminate workplace hazards that have the potential to cause significant injury or illness.  In this course, we provide many hands-on training opportunities for the participants to be able to apply the skills and knowledge they will obtain.  Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to receive an OSHA 30-Hour construction card.

Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained knowledge and skills on how to recognize hazards and what the appropriate types of controls may be used to help eliminate or reduce the potential injuries from those hazards.  This course is designed for supervisor level and above but can be beneficial to any employee within your organization.

This course meets the UDOT requirement for Contractors and Subcontractors.

This class is 4 days and participants are required to be present for the entire class to be eligible to receive their cards. Lunch will be provided each day and is included in the course fee.

This course may be taught at your company site and is offered in both English and Spanish.
