In the unfortunate event, SMTS can help provide injury case management, this entails meeting with physicians and employees to help document care and treatment plans, manage injury status, and provide recommendations for light/modified duty programs. This program can help reduce the impact of an injury on both the employee and the company.
As a third party administrator for managing worker’s compensation, SMTS will file and track worker’s compensation claims, act as the point of contact, and assist with evaluating claims to help reduce costs.
